TERMS AND CONDITIONS

GENERAL

Minimum Numbers 

  • All trips require a minimum number of two skis to operate. All trips are subject to weather conditions being within our Safe Operational Plan (SOP). We reserve the right to cancel or postpone trips at our sole discretion.

Important Information

  • Jet Ski Queenstown is a brand of Watersports Limited, which is a New Zealand owned and registered company.

  • The safety of our passengers and their property is important to us and by purchasing a jet ski tour with Jet Ski Queenstown and boarding our vessels, passengers agree that they are carried at their own risk and Watersports Ltd will not be liable in any way for any injury incurred as a result of being carried.

  • Passengers should be aware that in New Zealand any claims for personal injury are limited by a government scheme and passengers should obtain their own insurance should they wish to do so.

  • Please advise a member of our staff if you have a physical condition that may affect the enjoyment of the tour with us or your safety.

  • We suggest that passengers do not take any personal property or equipment on the jet skis, however, if passengers choose to do so then this property or equipment is carried at the PASSENGER’S OWN RISK, and Watersports Ltd will not be liable in any way for any loss to such property or equipment however caused.

  • For the safety and comfort of all passengers, all instructions given by the guide must be followed and parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring that their children do the same.

Please note: You must bring a credit card on the day to be stored on file, in case of intentional or unintentional damages to the Jet Ski.

Rates

  • All rates are shown in New Zealand Dollars and are GST inclusive.

  • All rates are subject to change at any time without notice.

CANCELLATION OR REFUNDS

  • A full refund will be given with at least 24 hours' notice before your booking, subject to where the original booking was made (If you book through a third-party booking agent, their terms and conditions will also apply).

  • No refunds will be given within 24 hours of the scheduled departure time or if you fail to show up for your booked activity at the correct check-in time.

  • Weather cancellations we make will be rescheduled or refunded in full. Jet Ski Queenstown’s operation can be affected by high winds, heavy rain, or unsafe lake conditions. Jet Ski Queenstown reserves the right to modify trip times and cancel trips at our sole discretion.

  • Jet Ski Queenstown Gift Cards are valid for 1 year after the date of purchase. Extension of validity beyond the gift card expiry date is at Jet Ski Queenstown’s sole discretion.

  • Gift Vouchers are non-transferable and non-refundable. If your booking was paid for by gift voucher and then cancelled, you will be issued a new voucher to be used at a later date.

  • Refunds will go back to the original form of payment in NZD, and Watersports Ltd is not responsible for any exchange rate fluctuations.

LIMITATIONS

  • The minimum age to drive a jet ski is 18 years.

  • The minimum age to ride as a passenger is 8 years old, and passengers must be able to hold on independently.

  • Jet ski rides are subject to a maximum combined weight limit of 200kg per jet ski.

  • A reasonable understanding of English is required to ensure all instructions are followed. We reserve the right to cancel a participant if we feel they do not meet the requirements for understanding English instruction.

Watersports Ltd reserves the right to cancel any trip if passenger safety is at risk due to exceeding the stated limits. Please contact the Jet Ski Queenstown team if you have any questions regarding this.
